Therapy to Find Clarity, Discover Balance & Inspire Change

In person in Northfield & online across Minnesota

I'm here to support adults of all ages who are facing a variety of challenges, from feeling down or anxious to dealing with tricky relationships, self-esteem struggles, life changes, and trauma.

Maybe you've been pushing yourself to excel in every aspect of your life, but it feels like you're running on empty. Or perhaps you're taking care of everyone else, leaving little room for your own happiness.

If you're feeling a bit lost right now, you're not alone, and you don't have to go through it by yourself. Together we can start carving out a path to a life that feels right for you.

Does something in your life feel off? Do you want to feel better about yourself, your relationships, and where your life is going?

If so, I’m glad you’re here…

My Treatment Approach

Therapy with me can feel like a conversation with a trusted friend. But these conversations are guided by clinical skills leading you to the source of your struggles. In our initial sessions, we'll get to know each other and begin to set goals to help you get your life back. As our work continues, you'll learn more about yourself and start taking steps toward sustained relief.

Throughout our work together, I will use a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques to best fit your needs. The technical terms for common approaches I use include humanistic, person-centered, feminist, multicultural, psychodynamic, attachment-based, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and solution-focused. At times, I incorporate pieces from skills-focused treatments, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).

But at the heart of my work is the relationship between me and my clients. Simply put, I work hard to create a space where you feel heard, validated, empowered, and challenged in a safe and nonjudgmental manner. I care about you and about what’s important to you.

I believe in offering affirming therapy that honors the dignity of all people and all identities. Additionally, I strive to use a non-pathologizing lens that acknowledges the impact of the various systems that shape our lives.
